My father Giovanni was a man of honor, a man of respect and a man people looked up to. Above all he was a loving husband to my mother Antonietta and a wonderful Father and friend to my brother Calogero and myself. My father was a hard worker, a role model, but most of all he was a family man with a heart of gold. He loved life. His grandchildren Daniella, Adrianna, Amanda and his great grandchild Vanessa were his pride and joy. My father loved the outdoors and had many hobbies. He loved making his home made wine, his fig tree, singing his Sicilian music and his movie camera (even though sometimes it got him into trouble). He loved reading and writing and kept a journal. My father was my best friend. He taught me to be the woman I am today. He taught me to be strong and to never give up. He taught me his Sicilian ways which I am proud of. I miss you dad.
